Crazy lace agate is a dense, hard chalcedony (about 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale) that takes a beautiful polish. It's a favorite for tumbling, cabbing, slabbing, wire-wrap jewelry, keychains, and display. Its swirling, lace-like bands of cream, red, gold, and gray make every cut a surprise.
